The sole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course on the Lake
Walk in the footsteps of the legend himself – Harbor Shores golf course was designed by Jack Nicklaus and his premiere team of experts in an effort to not just create an incredible experience, but to change and revitalize a community. Jack and his team chose Benton Harbor to host this new experience and did it as a non-profit, creating what can only be called an environmental masterpiece. During the creation of Harbor Shores, over 3 million square feet of run-down buildings were demolished and 140,000 tons of waste material removed from the Paw Paw river and other sites on the property, radically transforming the area into one of the most beautiful places in Michigan.
The result from Jack and his team, as well as our wonderful partners, is a community revitalized. As part of our dedication to remaining a non-profit, our revenues above operating expense are given back to the communities for job training and education. We also continuously support The First Tee of Benton Harbor, a program dedicated to promoting character development and values through the game of golf. It’s our way of saying thanks to the incredible community in Benton Harbor.
